In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. 　　However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. 　　Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble. But Soriya’s waking hours in the apartment and its surroundings are punctuated by terrifying, bloody visions, almost as though she were a conduit for horrors of the past wanting to seep into the present.　　Inrasothythep Neth and Sokyou Chea’s blood-chilling psychological horror explores a personal and political past through the present, transforming a characterful space into an insidious environment. Surrounded by modern high-rises, this decrepit structure, with its brutalist architecture and peeling surfaces, is a relic from a dark period in history whose painful memories it has absorbed. In tracing Soriya’s ominous journey back to her roots, Tenement hints at a necessary reckoning with Cambodia’s political past without overplaying its historical dimension. It’s an impressive work from a woefully underrepresented national cinema.

摩斯拉2 海底大決戰

　　ある日、沖縄の海に奇怪な生物が現れた。オニヒトデを思わせる「それ」は毒液で漁師を負傷させ、瞬く間に日本全域に広がった。それは伝説のニライカナイの古代文明が環境汚染の解決の為の生體浄化システムとして生み出したが、暴走したために結果としてニライカナイの滅亡の一因となった怪獣ダガーラの復活の前兆であった?！　ˉē辚ⅴ箠椕盲系厍颏挝Cを察知して石垣島へ飛ぶと、そこにはニライカナイから來た小生物ゴーゴが出現し、その尾の裝飾リングから寶がある事を悟った本土からの密猟者と、ゴーゴを保護した地元の少女たちがいた。エリアス姉妹は「ニライカナイの遺跡にはダガーラを倒す秘寶がある」という伝説を知っていた。少女たちとエリアス姉妹、そして姉妹と対立する黒い妖精ベルベラと密猟者はそれぞれ組んで海へ出る。　　ゴーゴの手引きでニライカナイの遺跡であるピラミッドが海から出現した。だが、寶捜しをしている頃、石垣島にダガーラが上陸し暴れ出したため、エリアス姉妹はモスラを召喚して戦いを挑む。ダガーラとモスラは石垣島から西表島まで空中戦を繰り広げ、遺跡のピラミッド付近で海中戦となり、モスラは海での戦いを得意とするダガーラに海に引きずり込まれた。そしてダガーラは「それ」 = 無數のベーレムをモスラに取り付かせ、モスラは戦闘不能に陥った。エリアスは必死にモスラに取り付いたベーレムを剝がそうと試みるが、あまりにも沢山付いているため、全くきりがない。絶體絶命のピンチに陥ったモスラ、寶の発見は急務となった。　　遺跡の中のトラップをくぐり抜けた少女たちと密猟者は、辿りついたホールでニライカナイの王女の立體映像から「ゴーゴが寶の主として少女 = 汐里を選んだ」事を告げられる。だが、ダガーラはピラミッドを襲撃してきた! 崩壊するピラミッドの最中、モスラはゴーゴの「命の水」の力により、取り付いたベーレムは取り払われ、さらにレインボーモスラとなってパワーアップし、再びダガーラと再戦する。さっきまでの狀況とは一変し、今度はモスラが優位に立った。ダガーラが再び海中に潛った時、モスラはアクアモスラに変身し、戦いの舞臺は、海底に移った。ダガーラの攻撃をバリアーでガードし、ダガーラに強力な攻撃を與えるモスラ。さらに分身モードとなり、ダガーラの體內から、ベーレムを倒しながら攻撃し、遂にダガーラは倒れ、その後、ピラミッドと共に消滅。モスラも海から出てきた後、元の姿のレインボーモスラに戻り、インファント島に帰って行き、危機は去ったのであった。
