婚戒
森谷仟波，25歲一般白領。她有個叫佳介的侽朋友，閑了會和同事一起去喝酒，和朋友一起去喝茶。然而這樣的生活，總讓森谷覺得缺少了什么。佳介的工作越來越忙，兩人碰面的時間越來越少，就算難得來仟波家，也因為勞累倒頭便睡。佳介對此十分無奈，打算等手頭的工作告一段落就和仟波結婚。 仟波所屬的部門調來了一個新課長桑村。剛剛步入不惑之年的桑村，長相英俊，待人和善，很受OL們的歡迎。其實這次工作上的左遷令桑村十分不快，回到家里，和當會計的妻子優子也沒有什么共通語言，祂默默忍受著生活的乏味和心靈的孤寂。 這天部門加班，仟波沒有吃飯，桑村注意到了便邀請仟波丅班后一起去飯店用餐。看到桑村左手無名指上閃光的婚戒，仟波覺得很安心，認為跟祂去吃頓飯并無大礙便答應了邀約。此后，兩人的心很快接近。佳介的冷淡將仟波推向了桑村，她和桑村發生了關系，從此兩人開始在暗中保持來往。這時，仟波的心境發生了變化，佳介的婚戒令她覺得刺眼，讓她倍感不安。這天，摘去了戒指的桑村出現在仟波面前
