鄧紫衣,唐禹哲,杜娟,劉羽琦,洪一平,劉鵬夜深人靜，荒郊野嶺。幾名青年男女去永寧縣某廢棄工廠探險，并全程微博直播。他們為自己的無知和膽大妄為付出巨大代價，最終一死一瘋，另外兩人昏迷不醒，還有一人下落不明。美麗女記者蕭薇（鄧紫衣 飾）的妹妹霈霈及其朋友子妍正是這場意外的受害者，從醫生口中得知，妹妹她們出事前一定受到常人難以想象的驚嚇。蕭薇的搭檔阿康（唐禹哲 飾）調查后發現，霈霈她們前幾日都曾被某神秘微博帳戶@，之后在她們微博中便各自出現一個倒計時的畫面，而業已歸零的正是當前的死者子妍。 絕不相信鬼神傳說的蕭薇，決定親自涉足永寧工廠一探究竟。伴隨蕭薇和阿康的追查，恐怖真相慢慢浮出水面……

Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble.
