 傳奇流行巨星Mother Mary（安妮·海瑟薇 飾）為了以完美形象回歸舞臺，找上疏遠多年的好友兼前造型師薩姆（米凱拉·科爾 飾），卻也掀開埋藏已久的傷疤。
