預科學校若智書院有一群成績堪憂思想活躍的學生，校董家的謝天（何啟南 飾）與謝地兄妹憑借老爸身份，即便留級也不擔心學業；綽號水電工的嘉明為人老實，暗戀同學白逸夢（陳松伶 飾），而白逸夢滿腦子言情幻想，全然沒有留意；李時珍（李麗珍 飾）因為在南太平洋群島旅游，耽誤了開學日，在旅游期間，李時珍結識了香港青年戴運河（陳山河 飾），運河對時珍一見鐘情，不顧家人反對退掉美國大學，趕到香港入讀若智書院。運河的到來令謝天大為緊張，謝天屬意時珍日久，和死黨吳成材一直無法打動芳心，但也不能容忍運河插手。校園內一時掀起了一場多角戀愛的爭奪……校董面對惡作劇的學生們大為光火，聘請軍校老師對書院進行軍事化管理，這引發了學生們的空前團結……

Robbins is sentenced to prison for the assassination of his general officer, a prison you leave only when you die. Since nobody ever leaves the prison, nobody knows what the prison is like. Robbins is sent to Absolom after he almost kills the prison manager.
