　　Following her mother’s death, manga artist Soriya travels to her ancestral home in Phnom Penh, with hopes of reconnecting with her distant family and using the visit as inspiration for her work. All goes well initially. Renting an apartment in Metta, a rundown Khmer Rouge-era housing complex, her visit to her maternal relatives finds her welcomed with open arms. In tracing Soriya’s ominous journey back to her roots, Tenement hints at a necessary reckoning with Cambodia’s political past without overplaying its historical dimension. It’s an impressive work from a woefully underrepresented national cinema.

宋真宗晚年，青春年少的包拯和好友公孫策，一同破獲一起塵封多年冤案。女主角月亮十多年前，全家被奸人所害，為了翻案，打聽到傳聞中陰陽鏡能斷是非真假，于是去墓地盜取，結果觸碰機關導致展昭被困，為了將其解救，必須破解地穴里的各種機關算術。一籌莫展的月亮剛好遇到聰慧過人的包拯，巧設伎倆利用鬼怪傳說，想引包拯去地穴救展昭。但包拯心中秉持正義、公平，從不相信鬼怪傳說，救出展昭后，月亮拿到陰陽鏡后，坦白自己一家遭奸人所害的事實，兇手還在逍遙法外。為了翻案包拯，利用陰陽鏡的傳說，使得案件重演，兇手心緒恐懼坦白從寬，認罪伏法。從此，年少的包拯一舉成名，所代表的公平、公正和正義的形象，慢慢被民眾熟知，被民眾所擁戴。

　　30年代的香港，社局動蕩，黑幫林立。香港大亨胡老頭這日找到私家偵探哎吆（林子祥 飾），要求其調查胡太太，因為他覺得胡太太這些天表現奇怪。哎吆調查后發現，原來是壞蛋神父卡邦派（麥嘉 飾）人勾搭上了胡太，意欲偷取胡老頭價值連城的股票。他們這一計劃遭哎吆撞破后，四處追殺哎吆。　　哎吆亡命之際，又發現了胡老頭其實并非什么香港大亨，只是一名老千，他來香港的目的就是要騙卡邦等流氓的錢。胡老頭邀請哎吆入伙，一起設局騙卡邦。和好友探長羅賓（泰迪?羅賓 飾）商量后，哎吆決定來個將計就計。
