The story follows the wanderings of a hero through the situations of survival. People wait for the Ark to arrive and rescue them while their habitat falls apart. Delving deep into the dusty and long abandonded vaults of b-cinema in search of lost gems always leaves me with a bittersweet taste. On one hand the discovery of unexpected gems where no one would think them possible is a rewarding experience. On the other hand though it makes one wonder how many of these remarkable low-budget oddities, personal love affairs of directors never quite famous and now all but forgotten, have almost forever slipped from memory? n any case what we have here is a little post-apocalyptic gem from Poland that is really better than it has any right to. The dystopian near future of O-BI, O-BA finds a group of survivors of the nuclear war that ravaged the Earth inhabiting an underworld concrete bunker and biding their time as they wait for the mysterious Ark, an air ship of some kind that will come and save them. The Ark proves to be an elaborate hoax, carefully designed to give hope to the malnourished and desperate denizens of the bunker, while in the meantime the dome that separates their miserable existence from the nuclear winter outside is slowly caving in. What first striked me about the movie is the design of the bunker and the depiction of the survivors. The survivors are gaunt, filthy and terrible-looking penitents, dressed in rags and aimlessly wandering the neon-lit halls of the bunker like automatons. The bunker is a rundown, seedy place, with bright neon lights peering from all sides like the eyes of malignant beasts. On one hand it is a slightly 80's depiction of the dystopian future but the movie never stoops down to MAD MAX cheese. Instead it combines biting political satire with the bleak outlook of a world with no future, black comedy with barbs on apathy, religion and power. The survivors, for example, are fed some kind of flour dropping from a tube that hovers in the air - later on we discover the food supervisor uses books and the Bible itself as filler for this meagre meal. There are many such short symbolic touches, perhaps not life-changing or faith-restoring, yet playful, clever and inspired. One thing is for sure; O-BI, O-BA is not your run-of-the-mill sci-fi schlock. It overcomes its modest budget with creativity and has genuine artistic aspirations both from a writing and directing perspective. My opinion is that it should have been filmed in black and white instead of colour though. The director uses atmospheric light and shadow to great effect and it would have registered even better in stark black and white. The blue-green neon on the other hand outstays its welcome after a while. Just a minor gripe in an otherwise solid b-movie with its heart set in all the right places. Imagine a less bleak THE ROAD (Cormac McCarthy) being injected with the satire and humour of DR.STRANGELOVE and you're getting there. See it if you can find it.
紅衣詭村之幻·謎
姚堯,車品孝,石稚昀,謝易真,李國麟,駱應鈞鄭家村，突然發生了一系列似怪異的事件。 眾人來到鄭家老宅，鄭浩民在了解情況后，特邀請曾經的同事，考古學教授張信安前來一同進行科學調查。 張信安等人來到鄭家村與鄭浩民等開展了一系列的調查工作。 張信安在觀察了鄭家老宅后，從科學依據做出判斷，鄭家老宅四面環山傍水，陰濕氣重，在地理上形同一個低洼混區，導致磁場混亂，各種正常人感知不到的微弱電波無法散發。 就在調查即將接近真相的時候，兩位教授遭受莫名攻擊，陷入可怕幻覺，導致兩人當場昏迷。 事態進一步惡化，破開迷霧的重任壓在了韓斌和張紫涵這一對年輕戀人身上。 韓斌在經過一系列的詭異后終于找出緣由。
告白
松隆子,岡田將生,木村佳乃,西井幸人,橋本愛,蘆田愛菜,三吉彩花,藤原薰,井之脅海,清水尚彌,高橋努,一井直樹,能年玲奈,新井浩文,野本螢一所平凡的中學，1年B組即將迎來春假。不知天高地厚的學生們肆意吵鬧，殊不知一場綿亙數月的風暴正向他們襲來。級任教師森口悠子（松隆子 飾）全然無視這片混亂，靜靜地向學生們做出最后的告白。這個單親媽媽獨自撫養著可愛的女兒（蘆田愛菜 飾），然而女兒最終在游泳池中溺水身亡。警察 認定這是一起意外，森口則認定女兒死于班上兩個學生之手。她不動聲色地指責著犯人A和B，并宣布用自己的方式進行復仇。在此之后，森口辭去教師職務，1年B班的學生也心懷惴惴迎來了春假。新學期開始，殘酷的風暴襲向了這群無知無畏的少男少女……本片根據湊かなえ的原作改編，并成為2010年電影旬報十佳影片；第34屆日本電影學院獎最佳作品、最佳導演、最佳劇本和最佳剪輯4項大獎。
利欲兩心
馬修·麥康納,阿爾·帕西諾,蕾妮·羅素,阿曼德·阿山特,杰里米·皮文,杰米·金,凱文·查普曼一次偶然中，布蘭登（馬修·麥康納 Matthew McConaughey 飾）發現自己竟然擁有一項如此神奇的特異功能——他能夠準確預測出每周末舉行的橄欖球比賽的結果。這一能力徹底扭轉了布蘭登失意而又頹廢的生活，同時也將他卷入了金錢和利益所構造的漩渦之中。 沃特（阿爾·帕西諾 Al Pacino 飾）經營著一家體育顧問公司，布蘭登的神奇能力在他的眼中無異于是一根點石成金的魔杖。野心勃勃的他找到了布蘭登，千方百計的說服了后者加入了他的公司。從此，沃特的事業扶搖直上，布蘭登也在沃特的身上找到了親情和友情。但隨著布蘭登的能力的逐漸流逝，他和沃特之間的關系也開始了動搖。兩人心中都有各自的想法，而最終的贏家只有一個。
