極度失眠

Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble. 超渡
王欣,陳立謙,張嘉殷,李子昭沒有任何人氣的鬼怪小說作家嚴冬自命不凡，雖然專寫靈異題材，但是卻從不相信世上有鬼。他的經紀人兼好友包勁希望他能盡快寫出真正恐怖且吸引人的作品，為此和他打賭世上到底有沒有鬼。兩人來到鄉下，在專門為他人做法事的三姐的庵堂住了下來。三姐的徒弟們活潑三八，獨有沉默的阿樂不與眾人為伍。阿樂自幼擁有天眼，能夠看到另一個世界的眾生，為了不惹麻煩上身而小心回避他們。另一方面，嚴冬在包勁和女孩們的幫助下終于見到了鬼，卻險些嚇破膽，關鍵時刻多虧阿樂相救。 自此之后他們越來越熟，而見鬼的日子也越來越多，盤桓在人間的眾生希望借助他們得到超度……
