　　平安時代，百鬼夜行，封鬼儀式正在右大臣藤原安麻呂府邸進行。安麻呂之女日美子（深田恭子 飾）戎裝登場，一箭命中靶心，引來全場驚嘆。這位被喻為“連鬼都不敢接近”的公主，卻令源博雅（伊藤英明 飾）暗自傾心。天現(xiàn)異象，京都騷動，魍魎橫行。平安京已有四人遇害，民間出現(xiàn)驅鬼術士幻角（中井貴一 飾），日美子亦在異象后開始夢游。博雅為此替右大臣來請安倍晴明（野村萬齋 飾）商談。與此同時，宮廷供奉的出云三神器之一草薙劍也出現(xiàn)了異動。晴明受天皇所托，與博雅開始調查種種異況背后出云與大和的隱秘淵源。　　博雅和夜彈琵琶的神秘少年須佐（市原隼人 飾）相識為樂友，須佐負傷被日美子所救，三人在右大臣府邸相逢。同一時刻，右大臣主動找到晴明，坦白了十八年前天現(xiàn)異象時，大和攻打出云的事實……　　本片為電影《陰陽師》續(xù)作。
