日本導演高橋伴明執導、奧田瑛二主演的新片《紅玉》正式入圍即將于2015年8月27日-9月7日在加拿大召開的第39屆蒙特利爾國際電影節;世界電影關注單元 。 導演高橋與奧田是同齡人，該片描繪了中年男人面臨;衰老與;性 的現實問題，為了追求更完美的人生而為之努力的故事。奧田飾演身兼大學教師與電影導演雙重身份的主人公時田修次。除了奧田以外，在京都造形藝術大學學習的新生代演員們，以及柄本佑、高橋惠子等實力派影星都將聯袂出演。

Surrounded by modern high-rises, this decrepit structure, with its brutalist architecture and peeling surfaces, is a relic from a dark period in history whose painful memories it has absorbed. In tracing Soriya’s ominous journey back to her roots, Tenement hints at a necessary reckoning with Cambodia’s political past without overplaying its historical dimension. It’s an impressive work from a woefully underrepresented national cinema.
