　　小女孩Aurora(Sloan)去尋求鄰居(米科爾森)的幫助：她相信家人被住在自己床底下的一個妖怪吃掉了，而這個鄰居恰巧是訓練有素的殺手，并且確信Aurora的父母是被一群來殺自己的人給誤殺，于是，殺手的第一要務(wù)變成了保護小女孩的安全，兩人一起上路，并肩面對自身的惡魔。

 臺灣中國菜碩果僅存的大師老朱（郎雄）退休后，漸嘗老年生活的諸多尷尬：每周日費心做出的一桌豐盛菜肴，并無將三個女兒（楊貴媚、吳倩蓮、王渝文）齊齊拉到飯桌的吸引力，已經(jīng)長大成人的她們，心里藏了許多比陪父親吃飯更重要的事；多年老友的突然離世，令他在友情這塊也有了缺口；而對廚師來講最重要的味覺的喪失，則將其徹底推到人生的低谷。三個女兒雖各忙各事，卻也操心著老朱的晚年生活，計劃著為其找個老伴，但她們沒料到老朱早已悄無聲息地談起了“黃昏戀”。吃驚過后，老朱最看重的繼承了他做菜天賦的二女兒家倩因為自身的生活經(jīng)歷，對父親、她與父親的關(guān)系有了新的認識，而對老朱來講更大的驚喜，還在后面。

　　Following her mother’s death, manga artist Soriya travels to her ancestral home in Phnom Penh, with hopes of reconnecting with her distant family and using the visit as inspiration for her work. All goes well initially. Renting an apartment in Metta, a rundown Khmer Rouge-era housing complex, her visit to her maternal relatives finds her welcomed with open arms. But Soriya’s waking hours in the apartment and its surroundings are punctuated by terrifying, bloody visions, almost as though she were a conduit for horrors of the past wanting to seep into the present.　　Inrasothythep Neth and Sokyou Chea’s blood-chilling psychological horror explores a personal and political past through the present, transforming a characterful space into an insidious environment. Surrounded by modern high-rises, this decrepit structure, with its brutalist architecture and peeling surfaces, is a relic from a dark period in history whose painful memories it has absorbed. In tracing Soriya’s ominous journey back to her roots, Tenement hints at a necessary reckoning with Cambodia’s political past without overplaying its historical dimension. It’s an impressive work from a woefully underrepresented national cinema.
