　　Five haunted-house enthusiast friends are still trying to recover from the trauma of being kidnapped the previous Halloween by the Blue Skeleton — a group who takes “extreme haunt” to another level. They decide to face their fears in order to move on and go back out on the road to find more haunted houses. However, ominous signs of the Blue Skeleton start appearing again…

　　曾經的約翰（盧克·威爾遜 Luke Wilson 飾）是一名風光無限的商人，偌大的豪宅，漂亮的妻子，可愛的女兒，當金融危機爆發之時，約翰所擁有的這令人羨慕的一切都在轉瞬間成為了巨大的負擔，他和妻子之間原本美滿的感情也產生了裂痕?！　〗洑v了糟糕的一天后，約翰拖著疲憊的身軀回到家，這時，一個名叫里奇（塞繆爾·杰克遜 Samuel L. 錺（かざり）職人のもとに奉公していた幸助（片岡千之助）は、ようやく8年の年季が明けることになった。                                                                      　　幸助は幼馴染のお蝶（北 香那）という娘に想いを寄せていた。                                                                      　　5年前、幸助とお蝶は年季が明けるその日、刻は暮六ツに、萬年橋で會う約束をしていた。                                                                      　　互いに想いながらもこの5年の間、幸助は人には言えない秘密を抱えていた。                                                                      　　また、お蝶の身にも幸助には話せない辛い思いがあった。                                                                      　　橋が見渡せる川辺からそっとお蝶を探す幸助。懐にはお蝶の為に作った簪（かんざし）が入っている。                                                                      　　果たして二人は萬年橋で再會することができるのか……。
