三分之一情人

　　安東尼（馬提亞斯·施維赫夫 Matthias Schweigh?fer 飾）和保羅（弗洛里安·大衛·弗里茨 Florian David Fitz 飾）是從小玩到大的青梅竹馬，兩人共同經歷了太多的事情，彼此之間的友誼堅不可破。成年之后，他們一起創辦了一家公司，這一天，公司覓得了一名非常慷慨的投資人，為了慶祝這件事情，公司里開設了一場盛大的派對，在派對上，玩的興起的安東尼和保羅決定打一個賭，賭注是公司百分之五十的股份。　　安東尼和保羅交出了身上所有的東西，兩人回歸到身無分文的狀態，然后每一天，他們都可以在他們所擁有的東西里拿回一件，如此往復，看誰能夠撐更長的時間，先放棄的人就是輸家。

Ay?e, Ali, Mehmet and Zeynep are middle-class millennials struggling to make ends meet in Istanbul. Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. 　　However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. 　　Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble.
