 麥克（斯蒂芬·多爾夫 Stephen Dorff 飾）是一名心懷大志的警探，最近，一宗連環殺人案件吸引了他的注意，已經有四人成為了殘酷兇手刀下的獵物。在搭檔泰瑞（娜塔莎· 麥克艾霍恩 Natascha McElhone 飾）的幫助下，麥克開始了對案件的調查。隨著調查的深入，一個驚悚的網站逐漸浮出水面，四名受害者在死前48小時都登陸過這個網站，在一個代號為“黑寡婦”的神秘女人的支配下，他們似乎用生命做賭注加入了一場游戲。為了查明真相，麥克決定以身試險，他登入了網站，與此同時，他生命的最后48小時開始了倒數，麥克必須在此時限內將真兇繩之于法，否則，他的結局會和先前的那四個人一模一樣。

Surrounded by modern high-rises, this decrepit structure, with its brutalist architecture and peeling surfaces, is a relic from a dark period in history whose painful memories it has absorbed. In tracing Soriya’s ominous journey back to her roots, Tenement hints at a necessary reckoning with Cambodia’s political past without overplaying its historical dimension. It’s an impressive work from a woefully underrepresented national cinema.
