本片主要講述《深喉》女主角Linda Lovelace在拍攝《深喉》前后的生活。Linda Boreman（阿曼達(dá)·塞弗里德 Amanda Seyfried 飾）本來是弗羅里達(dá)州一個(gè)普通少女，然而她的人生在遇見酒保Chuck Traynor（彼得·薩斯加德 Peter Sarsgaard 飾）后完全改變了。兩人沉浸在瘋狂激烈的性愛游戲中不可自拔，Linda離家出走與Chuck結(jié)了婚。不久Chuck被捕入獄，兩人陷入金錢危機(jī)中，于是Chuck強(qiáng)迫Linda去拍攝色情片賺錢。Chuck把Linda介紹給電影人Nat Laurendi和Anthony Romano，并通過一段自制視頻展現(xiàn)了Linda的特殊技能。Linda開始拍攝電影《深喉》，這部電影后來成為色情電影史上的奇跡，Linda也因此一炮而紅，改名為Linda Lovelace。然而伴隨著成名而來的卻并非Linda一帆風(fēng)順的人生......
