哲姆洛克
超現實主義禁忌影片；法國怪才導演克勞德.法拉爾多的無政府主義電影 代表作，是目前我所看過的所有影片中最牛B最虛無主義的影片之一，片中所揭示的資本主義社會弊病以及人類思想的異端化是用一種完全瘋狂的即興形式來表現 的，全片沒有一句對白，有的只是人類在壓抑的社會中的嚎叫和變異。哲姆洛克由意大利性格男星米歇爾 bull;比高利扮演，他曾經出演過布努艾爾的《白晝美人》《自 由的幻影》等名片，哲姆洛克是一個社會最底層的工人，和母親和姐姐生活在一棟陳舊的樓房里，每天過著從家里騎單車到地鐵站然后坐地鐵到工作的地方，下班再 回家，一種千篇一律的枯燥生活，哲姆洛克性格古怪猥褻，不常說話，經常偷看老板和他的女秘書在辦公室里ML，有一天上班，由于哲姆洛克偷看被老板發現了， 于是哲姆洛克被工廠解雇了，他沖進廁所，沖著鏡子中的自己嚎叫，然后又平靜地走了出來，坐地鐵，單車也不要了，走回了家，看到他的姐姐在化妝，上半身裸露 著，于是他上前撫弄著她的乳房，他姐姐一副很享受的樣子。他一聲不響地走進自己的房間，找來一把大錘，把墻上咂出一個巨大的洞，然后嚎叫著把電視機，床等 所有的東西從洞里扔了出去，重重的摔在了地上，他家里是4樓，巨大的聲響把樓上樓上和對樓的鄰居吵醒了，他們紛紛出來捂著耳看看什么事，但哲姆洛克不管不 顧依舊扔著，下午，哲姆洛克從附近的工地上拖來幾袋水泥和磚塊，一個人親自把自己房間唯一的門給封死了，晚上，他把磚塊往樓下甚至對面的窗戶上扔著，吵得 四鄰不得安寧，第二天，鄰居不堪忍受叫來了警察和消防車，警察和消防員想搭云梯強行進入他的房間，但被哲姆洛克用磚頭砸了回去，哲姆洛克甚至點燃汽油瓶扔 向警車和消防車，雙方對峙了一天，警察仍然無法把他從狹小的房間里抓出來，深夜，哲姆洛克的姐姐悄悄用軟梯爬進他的房間，他們瘋狂的笑著，嚎叫著，嚼著帶 來的垃圾食物，甚至ML。。。第二天，警察們又來了，這回他們帶來了哲姆洛克唯一的好友和工友，想讓他勸服哲姆洛克，沒想到反被哲姆洛克勸服，也許他也想 要一種刺激的生活吧，于是他也爬進房間，和哲姆洛克一起與警察對著干起來，這下警察不干了，他們動用了催淚瓦斯，但卻很快被哲姆洛克他們從房間里面扔還出 來，頓時整個小區濃霧彌漫，火光四并，居民們有點不堪忍受了，這時，對面三樓的一個女人也開始瘋狂起來，開始把自家的墻敲出一個大洞，往外面扔東西，她老 公也勸不住和她打起來了。。。警察們真有點不知所措顧不上了。這天晚上，那個瘋女人也悄悄地爬進哲姆洛克的房間，加入了他們。深夜，他們四人決定抓一個警 察來吃，于是悄悄的用軟梯爬下樓來，在寂靜無人的大街上敲暈了一個值班的警察，把他抬進房間，四個人分吃了那個警察，然后把尸骨扔了下去！。。。第三天一 早，他們在眾目睽睽之下，狂笑著，跳著恐怖的舞蹈，瘋狂地ML著，嚎叫著。。。居民們終于忍受不住了，他們好像紛紛被哲姆洛克的瘋狂傳染了一樣，嚎叫著， 用鐵錘砸著自家的墻壁，把家里的東西往外面扔著，甚至很多人沖下樓來，砸警車和消防車，燒警察，砸樓房，警察們開槍也沒有用，整個世界變成了一個巨大無政 府主義的血腥戰場，到處是火光，到處是煙霧，人們就像一個個瘋子和魔鬼一樣，嚎叫著，破壞著一切，毀滅一切。。。終于，巨大的樓房倒塌了，轟然一聲巨響， 整個世界安靜了。。。

The story follows the wanderings of a hero through the situations of survival. People wait for the Ark to arrive and rescue them while their habitat falls apart. Delving deep into the dusty and long abandonded vaults of b-cinema in search of lost gems always leaves me with a bittersweet taste. On one hand the discovery of unexpected gems where no one would think them possible is a rewarding experience. On the other hand though it makes one wonder how many of these remarkable low-budget oddities, personal love affairs of directors never quite famous and now all but forgotten, have almost forever slipped from memory? n any case what we have here is a little post-apocalyptic gem from Poland that is really better than it has any right to. The dystopian near future of O-BI, O-BA finds a group of survivors of the nuclear war that ravaged the Earth inhabiting an underworld concrete bunker and biding their time as they wait for the mysterious Ark, an air ship of some kind that will come and save them. The Ark proves to be an elaborate hoax, carefully designed to give hope to the malnourished and desperate denizens of the bunker, while in the meantime the dome that separates their miserable existence from the nuclear winter outside is slowly caving in. What first striked me about the movie is the design of the bunker and the depiction of the survivors. The survivors are gaunt, filthy and terrible-looking penitents, dressed in rags and aimlessly wandering the neon-lit halls of the bunker like automatons. The bunker is a rundown, seedy place, with bright neon lights peering from all sides like the eyes of malignant beasts. On one hand it is a slightly 80's depiction of the dystopian future but the movie never stoops down to MAD MAX cheese. Instead it combines biting political satire with the bleak outlook of a world with no future, black comedy with barbs on apathy, religion and power. The survivors, for example, are fed some kind of flour dropping from a tube that hovers in the air - later on we discover the food supervisor uses books and the Bible itself as filler for this meagre meal. There are many such short symbolic touches, perhaps not life-changing or faith-restoring, yet playful, clever and inspired. One thing is for sure; O-BI, O-BA is not your run-of-the-mill sci-fi schlock. It overcomes its modest budget with creativity and has genuine artistic aspirations both from a writing and directing perspective. My opinion is that it should have been filmed in black and white instead of colour though. The director uses atmospheric light and shadow to great effect and it would have registered even better in stark black and white. The blue-green neon on the other hand outstays its welcome after a while. Just a minor gripe in an otherwise solid b-movie with its heart set in all the right places. Imagine a less bleak THE ROAD (Cormac McCarthy) being injected with the satire and humour of DR.STRANGELOVE and you're getting there. See it if you can find it.
